VAT Exemption

If you are disabled or have a long-term illness, then you are eligible for buying some assisitive devices without VAT for your own personal, domestic use.

You can also claim if you are buying on behalf of someone else who meets the criteria, such as a parent buying products for the use of a child with a disability or someone buying for their partner.

Charities may also be able to claim VAT exemption, when buying products that will be made available to a disabled person.

If you are making a purchase or receiving goods or services such as a repair, then you will need to fill out our VAT declaration form.

You can do this using our online form here.

If you would prefer, you can download and print a pdf below, then email, fax or post it back to us.
