Your Lightwriter speaks for you, its voice is your voice. It is important that you feel that the voice you use represents you as much as possible. There are a few ways to personalise your Lightwriter’s voice in order to be the most comfortable when communicating. One way you can do this is by selecting either a male or female voice. Depending on your language, Lightwriters may have a choice of 2 male and 2 female voices.
Recommended solution:
1 - From the main menu go to Setups (option 7), then Speech (option 3), then Voice (option 3).
2 - Use Next, Back to select a voice.
3 - If you want to test the voice you have highlighted, press Shift-Do and it will speak for you.
4 - Press Do to activate the new voice.
5 - When finished, return to the main menu by pressing the Menu (!) key.
